My Journey
Hailing from Worcester, England - I began documenting street art back in 2012 when I moved from South London to East London. With murals, tags, stickers and paste-ups on every corner, watching the daily flow of new walls to the decaying pieces - street art quickly became a huge part of my life. In those early years, I traveled extensively to street art cities, meeting artists, curators, photographers and made a bunch of awesome friends - banking some 10,000 photos along the way. I quickly became trusted by artists to document the hidden side of London, it was an incredible time to be in the London, every weekend there was paint jam or a gallery show on.
Although never the intention, the numerous street art related projects I had worked on, shaped a portfolio which landed me a 2017 move to Los Angeles, CA - another culturally significant city for for urban art. I worked in a gallery and ran a street art tour company in Venice Beach.
In 2022, I moved to St. Petersburg, FL for family reasons, not realizing that I was about to discover yet another mecca for street art and connected with the scene here right away.
The more I spoke with artist friends here, the more I noticed a gap in platforms where they could share their work. That’s when the idea for Bay Area Street Collective was born.
The mission is simple, to support and showcase the incredible talent of Bay Area street artists, removing as many traditional barriers artists face, whilst doing the best by artists and having some fun along the way.
