Robot Mother

New moms are robotic. Sleep deprived, overwhelmed, scared & profoundly happy all at once. Being isolated as well during the shutdown, with a 1 year old, I found myself going through the motions and putting on different personas I felt I needed to be - all the while hiding my true feelings. I was going on National TV trying to sell products on HSN while crying 10 times a day & questioning every single move I made. This painting was a self portrait of sorts made originally for the Robot Show annually held in St. Pete.
